Has been assigned various positions in the company covering the initial to final distribution chain operations - scheduling for bulk and packaging products, tanker truck operations, tank farm operations, stock clerk, general clerk, operations supervisor, warehouse supervisor, materials handling supervisor, Customer Relations Executive, Head of Customer Service and Fleet Operations, Delivery Executive, Executive Operations Supervisor and Jetty.
As a frontline operator, he has played an important role in providing system processes and inputs for the establishment of the company's CSC Malaysia (Customer Service Centre) by providing a process flow chart for the Best Class customer service as he created for the workplace at Pengkalan Tg Gelang , Kuantan. He also handles safety and quality projects which include Hazard and First Impact Management Process and HSSE Case for Malaysian Depot and Downstream Base. Has contributed in assisting HSSE advisors in developing the Work Permit System for Depots and Downstream Bases. He is a member of the BLADE 15 project team, an oil and gas upstream project for flow processes and upgrading standards and procedures. He was also a team leader in waste management projects awarded with the Prime Minister's Hibiscus Award in 1999. Collaborated with the blending team and production team from 2007 to 2011 at Shell Company Lubricant Supply Chain, in ensuring quality products reach customers at the right time, right place, quantity & the right conditions, in a safe manner.
He was also an accident investigator. He uses TRIPOD ANALYSIS to find causes of accidents and short and long term solutions for them. This tool is also created to investigate BUSINESS FAILURE.
He is an operational support for the company's retail and marketing team, which works together to solve customer problems. Appointed secretary for Depot and Sales Meetings for 15 years, soaring for best in class customer service. Through the Enterprise Project (Customer Service Project) as a team leader, a customer service in Pasir Gudang Installation has been shared with all depots across Malaysia and his slide show has been brought to Australia to start the Enterprise Project there.
Haulier under his observation, coaching and mentoring achieved the Most Promising Haulier Award and became the first haulier in Southeast Asia to reach a semi-professional level in 2005.
Being the chief transport auditor from 2007 to 2008, he developed many FMCGs and fuel hauliers. During the year, he was also trained by an Australian supply chain professional consultant, Jack Williams.
