How to Invest Smartly and Safely by understanding Investment Psychology and Risk Management
Learn how to not lose money when investing so that you can build your wealth!
Investing is not rocket science, anyone can learn how to invest - but not everyone can make money consistently!
Knowledge and skills alone are not enough to make you a successful investor or trader.
World renowned investor Benjamin Graham once said that “The investor's chief problem-- even his worst enemy-- is likely to be himself."
Saving $100 every month and continuing this for 20 years will lead to you owning a portfolio worth $68,730 by the end of year 20 – assuming that you are able to get a 10% annual rate of return consistently without losing money. If you are able to perform better than the market’s average performance, your portfolio will grow even larger!
How do financial markets behave? How to navigate financial markets?
What are the common mistakes that investors make? How can we avoid them?
How can we manage our risks when investing or trading?
As humans, no matter how intelligent we are in terms of mathematical calculations etc, most of us still fall prone to psychological traps and end up making emotional-driven or irrational decisions and mistakes in the financial markets, all of which can wreak havoc on our investment portfolio.
Many individuals also enter the stock market or cryptocurrency market to chase the high returns without paying attention to risk – not having a risk management plan can be pretty dangerous unless you are always able to make accurate predictions!
This course will complement your investment knowledge with the understanding of market psychology and human behavioral biases, so that you can avoid making the typical investment mistakes that cause most investors to incur losses repeatedly.
It will also help you to understand yourself better – whether you are more suited to become a trader or an investor, and enable you to reflect on your past investment decisions and how you can improve your investment approach and strategy. You will also learn the practical ways to manage your risks and craft your own risk management plan accordingly.
