Hi, I am Affendy, a teacher (local and international) and parent of 3 children. For the past 6 years, my colleagues and I have noticed that many expats are taking jobs in Singapore with a local employment package. As a parent, after subtracting for rent and other necessities, there is really not much left to pay for your children's school fees. Now you have to make the hard decision of either leaving your children in your home country, pay hefty school fees you can barely afford or compromise on your children's education by sending them to 'learning centres' that lack both academic rigour and facilities.

In my course of work, I have met and helped so many of such parents. I realised that they were better able to make a more informed decision after listening to my insights and using a decision matrix which I called C4. Hence, I decided to conduct a 1 day course to share my C4 Decision Matrix openly to parents who are serious about their children's education.

In this course, you will learn how to:

  • Find the right school to fit your budget so that you don't have to depend on credit cards (Cost)
  • Select a curriculum that is relevant and recognised so that your children can eventually enter universities (Curriculum)
  • Sense the learning culture of different schools so that you would not send your children to a shockingly different environment (Culture)
  • Know your rights as a parent so that both your children and you are protected (Caution)

Besides the C4 Decision Matrix (Cost, Curriculum, Culture and Caution) above, you will also get a bonus lecture on how expats can enter local schools. Since this lecture is very popular among our expat friends, as local schools help them save money and provide their children with a reputable educational pathway to local and international universities, I have included it in this course as a bonus.

My insights on cost, curriculum, culture and caution of local and international schools in Singapore have helped many parents make schooling in Singapore a happier experience for their children.

This course costs $99.00.
