Traven Teng is an experienced Technical Recruiter (aka Headhunter) and a Certified Career Coach.
He is a recipient of National Youth Achievement Gold Award from Former President of Singapore Tony Tan.
After graduated from NUS with a Degree in Project & Facilities Management, he was at a crossroad between choosing jobs in the Building & Construction Industry, or a job that really interest him a lot- Recruitment Consultant.
It was certainly not an easy decision, as he wasn't coming with the background of HR practice or Sales, yet that is the essential skills for a Recruitment Consultant. At one point, he nearly quit his job without getting another job offer. He was once lost.
Years later, not only has he found out what he loves doing most, he had the skills to hunt for the top talents for his client Alibaba Group in Southeast Asia. Time to time, he provide Career Coaching sessions for his friends to help in their career.
Most recently, he was invited to speak at the Channel U TV Programme "Top 10 Singapore" for the episode of Dream Job.
