"I can't take the pain anymore!", but is going for the painful and expensive surgery the only option?

  • Studies have conservatively estimated that the success rate for back surgery is about 50%.
  • The success rates depend on a wide range of factors. Example, your health, type of surgery, source of pain and after surgery complications.
  • Surgery carries risks, especially Back surgery as it is done closer to the nervous system.
  • Most of the time, the back pain can be released without surgery and most people will prefer to take the alternative care.

The D.I.Y. System

With The D.I.Y. System, you can do it at the comfort of your own home or anywhere you are. Even at your work place! I have benefited from it myself using the same system!

It is Doable, the result is Immersely, and your response is only one word, "Yippee!".

Chiropractic Treatment

  • Chiropractic care do not involve the use of drug or surgery.
  • Chiropractor uses a safer, less risky way to treat the back and pain using physical manipulation.
  • Generally, it is a safer option to surgery, but it is still not 100% risk free.
  • A session of 30-45mins comes with pricey cost.
  • Often you may need to go for frequent visits, which are inconvenient and it can add to the cost of treatment.
  • So not many people can afford to go for the many follow-up treatments

Spinal Injection

  • According to resources from Dr Tow P.B., Epidural steroid injections work to reduce inflammation and swelling, hence, it helps to relief some of the pressure on the nerves and its roots.
  • The injection containing steroid medicine is being injected into the spinal canal, nerve root or other joints in your spine, relieving the pain.
  • The injection may take less than 45 mins and it can cost between a few hundreds to thousands each jab.
  • Its efficacy is variable and temporary. Some only last for 2 to 3 weeks, while some can last longer.
  • Multiple steroid injections can result in weakening the bones and decrease in immune response and symptom relief.
  • So this is only suitable for those seeking short-term treatment for immediate pain relief.
Acupuncture

  • It is known that acupuncture is gaining popular in relieving pain.
  • How it works is by connecting our meridian points to create a flow of energy called Qi.
  • It is thought that the effects of pain relief is from the releasing of chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord and the brain. These chemicals either alter the experience of pain or produce bodily changes that promote a sense of well-being.
  • Usually, one session will take about 45mins-1hr and
  • cost lesser than spinal injection and chiropractic treatments, but it can also add to the cost of whole treatments as well.
  • Acupuncture does have side effects if it is not done professionally, such as infections; nerve and blood vessel injury; central nervous system spinal cord injury and punctured organs...but these are rare.
  • Some reported that after the acupuncture session, they felt worse before feeling better.
  • Do keep in mind that acupuncture is not suitable for people who are on blood thinners and those who are suffering from infections skin disorder disease.
  • After acupuncture, you should avoid caffeine, alcohol, junk food, ice and strenuous exercise.
  • Shower should be taken preferable only 12-24hrs after.

The D.I.Y. System Stretch

I was once told by my chiropractor that our body is not build to stay in a position for long. It needed to move and stretch. With the right stretching, it helps to reduce tension in muscles supporting the spine and strengthening our back and abdominal muscles to prevent a recurrence of the back pain problem. After a few sessions of treatment with my chiropractor, I had to stop because I could not afford the treatment anymore. But it was kind of blessing in disguise for me because I had to do my own research to help my own back pain, and that was how I formulated The D.I.Y. System! Which I would like to share it with you...
